Exact OEM replacement for my ’07 Escalade EXT. It is a pretty easy swap other than needing to remove the front bumper/grill as a whole assembly to access the fitting to the transmission cooler.
I HIGHLY recommend also replacing the other line at the same time, PN 15779543. The other line is cheap and a simple swap if you are already replacing this line. Though you can release the pins with a pick, I’d recommend getting the proper disconnect tool.
If you do any towing, I’d also recommend swapping to a larger transmission cooler at the same time, as the factory one is inadequate for any heavy loads. There is an adapter kit for the Tru-Cool 40,000 GVW cooler that allows you to use the OEM lines/connections for a factory-like install.

Arrived quickly. Fit perfect. This was by no means easy to install, at no fault to the seller. I jacked up the passenger side, only because I needed to install a wheel speed sensor. Had to pull the front clip off, plastic only. I removed the electric radiator fans to facilitate installation, personal choice. There is a black plastic piece that runs and bolts in across the grill and bolts in under headlights, I removed the screw bolts in order to maneuver the line attaching to the AT cooler better. Removed some fender liner screw bolts and 2 brace screw bolts. All wheel drive front axle made it even more fun, I would have dropped the axle but my jack started leaking fluid. Anyway 6-8 hrs taking breaks and fighting rusted screw bolts. Probably could do it in 4 now that I’ve done it once.. GL

Take the old lines out through the back and fish the replacement lines in from the back. Can’t believe all the reviews saying they did it from the front. That’s the hard way.
