I kept getting a clicking sound from my rear and after a thorough inspection and a deep dive on the internet, determined that my rear shocks were the cause. I was at about 50k miles on my Maxima, so it was about that time anyway. Replacing these could not have been easier. I think it took me longer to jack up the car and take the tire off than it did to pop the old ones out and put these in. Not special tools required if you have a decent toolbox. If you do not, then get yourself a good socket set with a long (6″+) extension and you’ll be good to go.

It fit perfectly and restored the ride of my car to original condition. I knocked it down a star only because of questions about longevity. (Too new and too few miles to tell and nothing a visible.)

I have rebuilt a lot of my Maxima by replacing parts to keep it running in original condition. I have about 60K miles on, and I could tell I needed some rear suspension support as small potholes were banging and clicking as I would cross over them. These KuiperAuto rear assemblies were a fantastic choice for replacements.
Honestly, it would be very hard to beat the value of these for what you’re getting. They are extremely less expensive than dealership parts, of course, but they still had the look, feel, weight, and quality of construction; it was pretty impressive. The install is easy for any basic mechanic, but if you don’t work on vehicles, I recommend a professional mechanic. It took me about an hour for the total install, and the ride is much improved. It has been two weeks and they are still working great, no issues. If you want to refresh your ride quality, these make a good choice, five stars.
