Prompt shipping and very nicely tagged. Extensive wiring instruction manual is priceless and the extensive wire tags really made the process go smoothly. Needed a couple extra wiring packages for my 1982 Jeep CJ7, but those additional sets were well worth the expense and plugged right into the Painless harness.

Worked great, made for an easy and uncomplicated install. The new manual is very complete: If I had the manual alone I could have done this at a fraction of the cost with half as many wires. Still, ended up clean and worked as advertised. Can’t say as to the time involved to install because I was putting the whole jeep back together from scratch, but easily quicker than making my own harness even with the book.

If your thinking of requiring a CJ7, get this kit! It’s the most complete, easy to install harness out there. All connections are pre-terminated except the ignition coil because there’s so many variation but everything else is just plug and play. Instruction book is perfect and contains everything, everything that needs done. Won’t recommend anything else.

This was, by far, the best upgrade on my total rebuild of a 1984 CJ7! Wiring is my weak spot, but Painless truly made this process painless! These days most products come with no instructions or stick figure pictures. This harness comes with a substantial, step-by-step, manual which includes actual color photos for every step of the process. Made in America and done right! EVERYTHING works as it should on my Jeep now!

I hesitated to spend the money, but after messing around with bad wires, broken connectors, and no labels at all on my 40 year olds CJ8, I went for it, and I couldn’t be happier. I finally bit the bullet and ordered this. Great manual- very thorough. High quality wire and pieces. My only complaint is the names on many of the wires is faint ink and hard to read. Great tech support
