Nice relays, I like these since they have the double pole so you can use it to alternate outlets depending on if the relay is on or off. So you could use this inline with your car’s starter, if the relay is closed then the juice goes to the starter solenoid and if it isn’t, the juice goes to the horn! The possibilities are endless. Terminals are a steel not brass so be careful of possible corrosion over time. Maybe smear some silicone dielectric grease on there if it’s in the elements.

Bargain bulk 4 pack Price for High Quality Bosch Type 5 pin 40 amp relay
These Bosch Style 5 pin relays have a claimed “waterproof†case that I do NOT think is true. I am not going to test that statement. I am just keeping these relays, and the wiring, as dry as possible. These appear to be good relays passing some current testing. However, when trouble shooting electrical problems you must not be tricked by appearances or tricked by the presence of voltages. You may even be able to measure a voltage at the correct pin. However, the correct voltage does not mean that the circuit is functioning properly. Worn out contacts can provide the correct voltage, but not supply the correct full current for the circuit to operate correctly.
