I don’t have reason to question the quality of this product, but it is listed as being a fit for a 2012 Range Rover L322 (regular full-size Range Rover). It definitely does not fit.
The listing says “It is recommended that you check your vehicle’s owner’s manual to ensure proper fit before ordering” but that is really not realistic. No owner’s manual ever written has information of this kind. The listing does give dimensions, and they match my fuel cap, but after receiving this tether, it’s clear that the original tether was of a completely different type and there is no way to fit this one. After doing a little research, I don’t think there’s any year of Range Rover L322 (2001-2012) that this will fit.
I used Amazon’s tool to list my make and model of car, and the listing says “AmazonConfirmedFit: This fits 2012 Land Rover Range Rover”. This isn’t Amazon’s fault. The listing contains incorrect information, and my critical review is based on that fact. The listing should be corrected.
