Construction on this product was a bit rough. The plastic used was not exactly smooth like original Toyota or Denso aftermarket. The most concerning thing was that there were at least 2-3 small, tiny plastic specs or shards on both the top and bottom of the filter embedded in the material. The ones on the top of the filter could have made their way into the engine. This is very concerning, defeating the whole purpose of the filter. I had to spend time removing these plastic specs with a tweezer. The plastic specs speak to their rough construction. Not purchasing again, even at $9.50. Spend almost double and get at least the Denso aftermarket. At least you’ll have peace of mind you aren’t ruining your truck. The Japanese original is best but maybe not worth double the Denso aftermarket price. 2008 4Runner Limited V8 RWD.
