I took a chance and ordered this downstream o2 sensor for my 2007 Mazda 3 GX Sedan. It was just as described, and saved me some money as opposed to getting this part from local shops charging much more. Comes with a plastic cover over the sensor for protection & has the high temp anti seize on it already, just remove the old one, and install the new. I also used an o2 sensor socket, which I very highly recommend for the replacement, otherwise a plain wrench will make the job difficult. Engine lights gone, and time will tell how it holds up.

UPDATE: Wait a minute! Maybe this doesn’t quite work. The original sensor was definitely failing, it would trigger the code within 3 or 4 miles. This one did great, other than the odd, random low voltage cycle I mentioned in my original review. About 650 miles into my trip, straight driving, with only a couple of 15minute fuel stops, the code set again, I checked the sensor while cruising on flat ground, and it was stuck at 0.251V. I accelerated a little, and it came back to life. Another 200 miles and it hasn’t done it again, but I am again reserved about buying cheap sensors. I’ll spend some more time driving it, and update if my opinion changes, but so far, this is looking like every other cheap sensor. In a couple of weeks, I may bite the bullet and buy OEM.
At this price, this was an amazing deal. My Mazda 3 with 80k miles started setting a P2096 when driving at interstate speed, but never in town. I monitored the signal, and it would randomly zero out, like the sensor shut down. I don’t like cheap aftermarket O2 sensors but at this price, it was worth a shot, and it’s easy to change. I usually bite the bullet and buy only OE sensors. It arrived quickly, on time, unlike most of my recent Prime orders. It was the exact length, and looked identical, except for the connector color and slightly different louvers in the sensor shield. My OE sensors, use grey upstream, black downstream, this came grey instead of black. It even had anti seize already applied to the threads. I’ve taken it on 2, 10+ mile interstate drives, on consecutive days, with a complete overnight cool down, and it maintained 850+mv for most of it, with some odd slow cycles down to 250mv, but quickly recovered. So far, I’m confident, but I’m taking a 1000 mile trip this weekend, we’ll see. The old sensor, the original, would consistently set the code, indicating it failed.

Product was terrible. I had to order a new product from an alternate source and that one worked perfectly for my 07 Mazda 3.
