Arrived after weeks of waiting, poorly packaged and box crushed…had already been opened. The contents were obviously previous returns and the suction cup was damaged and torn.
Very disappointing.
Otter Box used to be excellent quality, but this item was very poor.

Quality of this mount is greater than others I’ve had, even big brands. This one stays firm on your vehicle. If you go with the air vent mount and live in a cold area, just be aware heat issues can arise from charge heat plus car heater.

Bought a new MagSafe phone protector for my iphone 13 Pro Max, but my car phone charger wouldn’t charge through the new phone case. After reading a ton of reviews, I purchased this Otterbox MagSafe wireless phone charger, and I can’t believe I waited so long to switch to MagSafe! Holds very secure, connects immediately. Love it so much more than the “winged” car phone charger. Don’t have to deal with old one deciding to open while driving and dropping my phone on the floorboard.
My wife’s always forgetting to release her phone before turning off the ignition, so she has to pry her phone free causing it to pop off the vent mount. I ordered her the same MagSafe setup, can’t wait for her to try it!

Worked good while it lasted. The piece that attaches to the vent came come off pretty easy, and it snapped after three months, making it unusable.

I actually had a custom fitted mount in my car which came with a magnet, I removed the magnet off the mount and replaced it with a half a magsafe mount, then decided to do that again but with this charger, so I am not using the suction cup, just the charger mounted on a different mount with the universal ball mount, and it works great. I was shocked to find that I could do this with these 2 different products. The custom mount was only good for attaching to the dashboard, which I think is the downside to any universal car phone mount. So combining them I made the perfect mount for my car.

I had a different magnetic vent clip on, but my new iPhone 13 mini, with case, was too heavy and kept slipping off.
I switched to a clamping holder, but I missed being able to slip the phone on and off With one hand.
Plus I had to keep plugging and unplugging the charging cord.
This unit is perfect. The magnet holds securely, it’s easy to flip the phone between vertical and horizontal, no charging cord to plug in, on and off with one hand (once I got the knack of pushing the holder of the back of the phone with my fingers). What’s not to like?
