I bought this coil to replace the worn out one on a 35 year old snowblower I got for free. The coil works perfectly fine at a test run, but I haven’t had enough snow to give it a good work out, so for now I’m very satisfied.

FROM START TO FINISH ZERO PROBLEMS, THIS OLD TECUMSEH MOTOR POWERING MY FIRST MOTOR CYCLE, MINI BIKE
IGNITION COIL HAD BECOME INOPERABLE AFTER? WELL I JUST TURNED 48 AND MY GRANDMOTHER HAD BOUGHT THIS FOR ME WHEN I WAS 8. ANYWAYS VERY FAST SHIPPING AND CORRECT FIT HAS ME ENJOYING MY CHILD HOOD AGAIN!!!!

This coil only took 9 days to land from the U.S to Australia – one of the fastest deliveries I’ve had for standard postage rates. The coil was very well packed and was exactly as described by Amazon. I haven’t yet fitted the coil but am sure it will work fine. This was my first purchase through Amazon and I must say that I am very impressed. Thanks Amazon.

They send a rather cheap connector with no instructions to install it. I just crimped it on but caused a problem later.
Have to strip back insulation a good 1/2″ & fold conductor back over insulation; Then crimp connector tight on
conductor to make a good connection. Then the trick is to have the rite crimper to get a smooth-round crimp that
you can slip the boot over.

have a 1972 JC Penny 3.5 HP outboard made by eska with a tecumseh head. flipped the boat in some ruff surf on the beach and dunked the motor. Ripped it all apart, found out the coil was bad. Replaced it in like ten minutes and worked as good as new.

Perfect fit and fix for my older Techumeseh HM80 that had an open coil/no spark. Only thing was the wire lug was a little larger than original but worked fine.
