Ordered this for a motorcycle trip in Alaska. The plug on the BMW 850 is behind the seat, so I used this extension to reach the tank bag where I have a splitter for GPS and USB power. Rode in heavy rains more than expected and the cable held up great.

Used this to extend power to the handlebars. Have an OptiMate battery charger cable connected to my battery that had a weatherproof cap. Took it off and used it at the handlebar end for weather proofing. Now easy to use either battery tender or to power my phone with USB adapter.

The cable is well constructed and the ends are a good fit to other devices. The end cover included is just an open ended sleeve. The cable ends are bulky, which can be a problem if you are permanently installing the cable in a tight area. Overall construction is quite good.
