This made installation a breeze on my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation. Keep in mind I don’t have LED tail lights only basic halogen bulb tail lights. I don’t know if trucks equipped with LED tail lights have different connections, so order at your own risk. Although some have commented that it worked with their Denali model that were newer than 2022.

To start off with, I appreciated the fact that the instructions were very clear and concise. If I’m going, to be honest, it would probably be a good idea to include a footnote instructing DIY(do-it-yourself) installers to check the measurements between the tailgate light bar and the tailgate closure to ensure that the latter doesn’t press against the bar before you make the final installation. I was an eighth of an inch too high and had to learn the hard way that removing the tacked-down bar wasn’t easy. Other than that, this solid light bar scored an “A”.

Made for installing the OPT7 light bar. Super easy to install. No need to splice the trucks existing electrical line and make irreversible mods to the truck just to install the light. Fits perfect with the existing OEM wire harness connections. Would have it any other way. Works fine. No issues experienced with the truck’s electrical systems because of it. Highly recommend.

This harness worked in my 2022 Sierra Elevation and on my new 2025. The new truck has some extra features that my old one didn’t, but the taillights remained the same.

For those wondering if these will work on a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500, wonder no more! It connects perfectly and is very nice quality. My only wish is that they should provide some zip ties to finish the install.

These plugs look the same on my 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 custom trial boss so I wanted to see if it works and what I can tell you, yes these plug do work on my 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500.
