My two cats have used my chair as a scratching post and have damaged the surface beyond repair…or so I thought! I bought dark brown but I think black brown would have been better. I used paper as a template and it was easy to size. It’s not perfect but it looks better than it was. I’m going to wait and see how long before my husband takes notice of the repair. I’ll update on how well the adhesion holds up.

I bought to cover some damage that the dog made on the couch. The material is not really soft/flexible. It is kinda stiff and doesn’t conform to the shape of the couch if you cover a big area. The sticky portion doesn’t adhere very well. Small patches are okay.

The adhesive (3M per the liner) is very strong, and proper starting placement is important.
However, the adhesive was not able to stick to the curved portion of the front of the chair seat where the existing leather was cracked (even with an additional piece to extend the reach), but otherwise I am happy with the results.
(In the picture, the corner on the right has the extra piece. The other corner stuck well and has stopped the spread of the hole, and a rip in the middle center of the seat is covered by a large patch.)

Easy to use and put on. Cut to size of the needed repair part and it stick right on. Make sure to cut a little more to overlap the repair. The color is good and match my teared up chair. I went with the darker look instead of the lighter one and that help out.
If you are concern with color match i suggest sending them a picture of your couch.
