My wife drives a 2014 Honda Pilot and we love the car, but recently the check engine light came on which is always a bit of a concern. I am not a big car guy, but I pretend like I know what I’m doing so I can try to save a little money. I stopped by my local car parts store and borrowed a code reader. Someday I’ll probably get one here off Amazon, but that day hasn’t come yet. I got a P3400 code and with a little help from google and YouTube, I found a possible fix. For less than a tank of gas I picked up this little guy and within about 10 minutes, had it installed. Considering it would probably cost me over $100 to get it fixed (at a reasonable place, probably $200 at the dealership), I am happy the resources are available to do it myself. Can’t say it will help in every situation, but it did for me.

This was exactly the correct part. Fits a Honda 2013 Pilot. Nice do-it-yourself job, very easy and saved a lot of money. Highly recommend!

  3. Brad

Worked great. Solved my car issue

It’s been running well since 3 months now.. wait and see about other 3 months..

Replaced two oil pressure sensors on a 2013 Honda Pilot. Cleared the P0522 code and the Pilot has been running great. Oil level was good, so it was the sensors. I believe this is a known issue with the older Pilots. Anyways, this was an easy fix and didn’t cost a visit to the mechanic.

Had the check engine light on my Honda Pilot and it was recommended to replace these sensors. There are two on my 2014 Pilot, and these were simple to change out and the code went away! I was also impressed as these units were half the price at either of my local car parts stores. Worth the wait for sure, two for the price of one!

  8. Jeremy Bearimy

Purchased this part in May 2021 to clear a check engine light. It installed fine and initially worked great. In April 2023, the same check engine code returned for the same part. Installed a genuine Honda part this time and the check engine light is gone. Save yourself some aggravation and spend the extra $10 on a geniune Honda part.
