I can’t believe this actually cost so little and worked as good as the original OEM fuel pump. The only issue I had is the top fuel outlet was to small as any V6 200 HP or higher requires a 3/8 hose and I had to trim down the one that holds the O-rings to make it fit. Otherwise, I installed it primed the system and it started right up. I haven’t put the boat in the water yet but all the test I did show it should perform as intended. By the way I am an otherized OMC dealer. Hope this helps.

So-I bought a used boat-had two of these and one of the gold ones with it. None worked! I bought three of these and two of the gold non VRO ones. I was working on multiple boats. First failed after 8 gallons of gas. None will operate a 225 Hp outboard at full throttle. They may operate a smaller motor but won’t last long!

This part was put on when I received it but never used until now and it is leaking gas like crazy.
