Although I do not have a Toyota, I knew my fob takes a 2032, so I snatched up these Lithium based batteries at this good price.
I’ve made the mistake of using cheap, generic batteries in my fobs before, and there is no value there. These original OEM style batteries will probably outlast my car at this point.
I didn’t need the little tools that came with, but they are a nice touch and would be particularly helpful for a Toyota owner.

My 2017 Toyota Avalon remote key fob battery was dying, so I got these batteries to replace it. The batteries came with a miniature slotted and a Phillips screwdrivers and a guitar pick style pry tool. For my remote, the pry tool was not necessary since I used the emergency key in the remote to pry the case apart.
Getting the case apart was very simple, as I just inserted the key into the hole where I took the key out, and twisted it against the metal stub sticking out at the bottom of the remote. I you are doing this yourself, make sure the buttons on the remote are facing down, toward the floor, or else they will fall out of the remote case once you have the case apart. I just swapped out the battery and the case snapped back together. Everything worked perfectly after that, I have a fresh battery in the remote which should last about 2 years.
Overall, this is a nice kit that came with some extras which was appreciated. I used one of the screwdrivers to remove the key fob clip but did not need the pry tool. The batteries seem to be fresh and I can recommend them as a replacement for any remote that uses the CR2032 size.

These batteries are for a 2015 Toyota that requires a 3V CR2032 battery.

The batteries in my set are actually stamped as Panasonic, although this was not stated other than “OEM” in the product description. That was a pleasant surprise.
There is a QR code on the box to get instructions if you need them. If you are replacing Toyota batteries it isn’t hard at all. Just remove the key, from the fob, pop open the fob using a screwdriver, slide out the old and replace with the new battery and snap it back together. It is criminal what dealers charge to do this.
My package has an expiration of March 2029 which seems reasonably long since I get about 2 years on the batteries before replacing.

This is an easy replacement for our 2005 Toyota key fob battery, and much cheaper than the outrageous prices the dealers charge to do this. Inside is 2 leakproof lithium batteries, a tool to pry open your key fob, a small phillips and flat head screwdriver, and a step by step installation video. These batteries have a 5 year shelf life so no worries about replacing them anytime soon.

I ordered these to replace a dying battery in my key fob. It did exactly what it says it will. I like that it came with a little plastic tool to make it easier to open your key fob but I didn’t really know how to use it. I’m also glad that three pack came with two batteries so I have one ready when the first one runs out.
