Product fit my 2006 Chevy Malibu but did not start the car each time. It had intermittent starting. I purchased in June 2024 got it put on about a week later and within a week or 2 it started having intermittent starting. Thought it was my battery so replaced it as well but the issue continued. It’s now August 2024 and it’s past the return window so nothing I can do.

The starter arrived the next day for my saturn ion 2.4 It fit exactly! it’s louder than OEM, but much more inexpensive too. Started my car over 100 times now, works good!

You can find youtube videos on how to install it. Thankfully chevy cobalts have it right under the bay and its an easy op.
But anyways, so far so good.
Just make sure to check the teeth in the engine after you’ve taken out the first starter before you buy, if some of them are broken, a starter will be the least of your problems.

Fit perfectly and easily installed in my 2007 Pontiac G6. Sounds slightly different than the original starter, but still works fine, almost 3 years later. Price was much less than comparable parts in local auto supply stores.
UPDATE This starter worked fine until about a week ago when it suddenly gave out. One click, them nothing. Still worked sporadically (and no, I didn’t have to bang it with a iron pipe or a hammer), but that’s not quite good enough when the part is literally what gets your car to run. So useful life for me was almost exactly 4 years. Not great, but for a 15 year old car with well over 100,000 miles on it, I guess it was worth the $50 it cost me.

Was a perfect fit, car started right up after changing the old starter out. The top bolt is tricky to line up and get started, but the rest is straight forward. If this is a reman unit it’s very well done. Looks brand new out of the box, no defects or rattling. So far works flawless. Would definitely buy again.
