Alternator was installed almost a month ago. Works good so far. The mounting bracket area has to be trimmed some for it to sit properly. Otherwise great.

I replaced my 105amp alternator AND longer belt after installing electric radiator fans. I also added a 6 gauge wire going from the alternator to the main power cable. The original wire is too small which kills the alternators on these trucks. I have only put 2500 miles on the truck since installing, but am confident it will have no issues for a long time. Buy this and replace that cable, you won’t be disappointed.

Works great on my 03 sierra with the 5.3 fit like a glove and no weird noises like others have stated i did the electrical fan conversion and needed to upgrade from the 105 amp alternator been on for almosth a month no issues so far if you are upgrading from the 105 amp alternator you will need a bigger belt.
