Installed these on my Chevy Silverado 1500 (2016, 5.3L V8) about a week ago. I had the OEM plugs and wires still at 263,000 miles, and figured it was time to replace them. These were a tad longer than the OEM wires, but barely noticeable, and they fit just fine. I haven’t had any change in performance since installing these – which is a good thing.
A note on the infamous plug 8 on these trucks – don’t be nervous about it. Definitely pull the wheel well, but a spark plug socket – 3/8 universal joint – 3/8 extension of a reasonable length – ratchet will, in that order, fit just fine and be easy to get to.
Wish they were blue, but hey, they’re red.

These spark plug wires arrived nicely packaged with clear instructions and informational pamphlets detailing their high-performance benefits. It’s always a plus when a product includes useful documentation, making installation and understanding the features easier.
One thing I wish I had known beforehand is that some sets come with heat shields included. If I had realized that, I would have ordered that version instead. However, I was able to purchase heat shields separately, so my setup will be complete soon.
I really like that these wires are 10mm thick, which gives me additional confidence in their heat resistance and reliability. When changing spark plugs on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L V8 4×4 Z71, the old wires typically get damaged in the process, so having these on hand will make for a smooth replacement.
The red color adds a great hot rod look to the engine bay, giving it a bit more style. Another advantage of these thicker wires is that they are more rigid and won’t flex and move around as much as standard wires, reducing wear from vibrations and engine movement over time.
These will fit my truck perfectly because my truck has coil packs requiring shorter spark plug wires. These wires can be anywhere from the quarter to half the price of other brand name standard spark plug wires. These are at a great price for high peformance wires.
Overall, this set is well-made, looks great, and seems built to last. I’m looking forward to installing them when I replace my spark plugs.

Love how these look inside the engine bay and how easy they were to install! I haven’t noticed any power increase, but no loss either.

I was a little nervous about these since the cost is so much lower than getting any set from the parts store, but they seem to be built very well. The wires are near double the thickness of the wires I replaced. I don’t know that they will preform any better than the old wires, but time will tell I guess. I wish I could have gotten them on before the cold, I would like to have seen if they can better handle the negative temps of the North.
Everything fit perfectly, some of the wires might be a little long, but they don’t touch anything that could damage them. I’d be more worried if they are rubbing on something or it put them closer to extreme heat. They fit the heat OEM heat shields, and attached securely to both the plug and the coil.
Personally, I think the red looks a little cooler than the old gray ones, but my 03 tahoe certainly isn’t a show vehicle so it’s more just a look for me when I open the hood.
Here’s hoping the quality lasts and there are no issues anytime soon or I’ll be going back to part store wires. As my coworker pointed out, while these are cheaper, it will be harder to get a warranty on them if needed ever, where if you buy from a part store you can just go in and have a warranty honored. Just depends on your preference.

I’ve been getting some pretty decent car parts from Nilight. These spark plug wires are on par with what I have come to expect from these guys. They are good quality standard duty plug wires that hold up to normal abuse with minimal wear and tear.
The boots are a little snug, but I always add dielectric grease so they slid on ok once I lubed them up.
They don’t seem to be as high heat tolerant as I expected. High heat wires tend to be a little harder rubber. These are gummy and soft, which is ok, as long as they don’t get gummier and softer when they get hot. I’ll be keeping an eye on them for signs of melting and I don’t think I’ll be using them on anything with headers.
Overall they seem to be a good value and I haven’t noticed any RFI issues that you tend to see with really cheap wires.
Would recommend.

The spark plug wires are good quality plugs. They are easy to install if you know what you’re doing. They seem pretty durable. And the red is a good vibrant color.

These look like toys out of the box…. the boots are like cheap gummy bear material and the wires feel like string cheese. I would never buy these again. spend the time and money and go to a box store and buy something of a higher quality.
Edit…. I am putting these in use since my MSD ones have failed. I will update my review after some usage

They don’t seem like super high end wires, but they work fine. I put them on my truck when I changed spark plugs and they are working fine.
