My husband is always needing items for his semi truck. Anyone with a semi knows they’re a big investment 24/7. These parts are excellent quality and affordable. They’re easy to is all and work perfectly. They’re durable and just as good as name brand, according to my husband.

To be fair, I “bought” this free sample to use as air hoses in a compressed air setup, specifically because they’re listed as “1/2 inch air hose” – which they are NOT. They’re 3/8″ ID hose, and big fat honkin rubber hose at that. The text ON the hose itself says as much, and also says they’re not rated any higher PSI than most standard hoses. So I’m not sure why they’re nearly 1″ across, or why you’re paying a premium.
They DO say “DOT certified” on them, which for brake lines I think is a must.
I assume the absolutely gigantic connectors on the colored ends are some sort of standard / requirement, because otherwise good-lord, are they obnoxious.
The 1/2″ NPT threads on the other end are actually just adapters – the host itself seems to have 3/8 straight threads? Or something else – they’re very fine, and way narrower than 1/2 NPT. The air passage through the fittings is barely 1/4″, which for ANY hose of this size is preposterously small.
Again, if that’s all standard for their intended purpose… I still have questions about brake line standards, but then These are probably 4 or 5 stars.
If you want them for something else? Avoid.

I got the glad hands grip set and the extensions. Easy to install. Material is hard metal, grommets are of strong rubber. I love the extension handles makes it so much easier to remove and put the hook ups back on. These will last me a long time.
