These are an excellent and affordable option for solar fence energizers. I purchased an entry-level energizer for a goat pen and was trouble to see that it didn’t come with leads. The size of the “ring” on these clips was unclear to me, but I figured I could easily snip it off and wrap the wire around the hot/ground terminals. Imagine my joy when I received these leads and the rings fit like a glove over the posts! They don’t quite clamp onto the fence wire as perfectly as a purpose-built leadset, but they’re more than serviceable. I might have to grab a few spares for the future!

I was able to use these clamps to make my own portable booster for my vehicle. They are easy to use and clamp on really tight with no fear of them slipping off while Jumpstarting a vehicle.

The handles on the non – wire side slip off so easily, in fact one was loose in the bag upon arrival. Thin wire, decent quality. Best part is the spring pressure and the bite on the teeth. Using them with the terminals cut off on a solar charger. Not heavy duty enough for high power draw but good enough for this use. Higher power and a slipping off handle xoudl result in injury. Needed something quick before a trip, these are really worth a few dollars less than I paid.

i bought these to extend a battery charger lead they worked great the wire is aluminum & a little stiff but it looks to be 14 gauge i would not use these as jumper cables as the wire is too small for that. the clamps have good spring tension & grab well the wire is soldered to the clamp not a cheep crimp fitting

Work with the inverter without any issues at all. It’s solid but wouldn’t use them in colder weather. It was very stiff at 5°C, so use in warmer weather

These clamps are not meant to be used to jump start a car. I purchased them to get power from my battery for a small air pump. The pump came with a cigarette or auxiliary plug but I don’t like using those for anything using more power than what a cell phone uses. To me, the wires in those are not that big for something using 8-10 amps of power. They clamps are perfect for my application. The wires are actually larger than the air pumps.
The plastic sleeve do slip down when you pull on them but a couple drops of super glue on each one fixed that.

This is strictly light duty. Fortunately, I’m using it with a 9 amp battery to jump my generator. I don’t anticipate using it for anything else. I’d be afraid of it burning up with a larger battery. Nevertheless, for my purposes it seems to work just fine.
