Pretty much plug and play for a ’14 Forester. The fuse is nice, but having it next to the converter box means digging back behind the body panels again just to check or replace though. I do wish the 4-pin connector extension was a little longer. It doesn’t leave much room for error on longer hitches or if the trailer harness is too short. Even if an extension is need though this is probably a quarter of what a U-Haul or something would charge on sight. Well worth them money.

My first one was a name brand and it works for about 20 times and lost one of the rear light. The 4 pin plug on this one is more robust. All wires are of good quality. Comes with all mounting fasteners.

Easy Installation. This fit perfectly and was probably a 20minute install. Took me a little longer because I opted to put the wires to the passenger side lights in wire loom to protect them and tuck them behind the bumper cover. Control unit will mount on the fender behind the driver’s side light.

I drive a 2016 Subaru Outback and this is an easy install for this vehicle. The connecting wiring is already in place in the Subaru and with a little help from the directions and online. This is a 30 minute install.

I did not realize how nice this wire harness was going to be. It looks factory, very nice wires, not skinny cheap stuff. It is plug and play, just need to find a spot for the ground wire. NiLight is one of my favorite sellers on Amazon, you always get quality items with great prices. I trust this brand.

I recently had a 2″ hitch installed to my 21′ Outback for a bike rack. My bike rack comes with a stop/turn indicator light set, so I need wiring. The installer for hitch wanted to charge me $125 additional for wiring. So I ordered this from Amazon for much less, arrived quickly in a good packaging. I watched couple of videos online, it took me 30 minutes to install this. Works great with my Outback and my bike rack. I liked it so much I bought another set for my brother’s 16′ Forester, it worked with that one as well. I highly recommend this wiring kit.
