My 1995 Jeep YJ 2.5 was running really rough. It would backfire through the intake and had very irregular acceleration where it seemed to flatten out and sputter then pick back up again. Changing out the TPS with this new one fixed all those issues instantly. The Jeep runs great again! Engine is running smooth!

Simple and quick fix for my annoying throttle hesitation/ dead spot. Also helped my transmission shift points improve.

I was having a situation where I’d lose power especially when the ambient temperature was below freezing, however, it wouldn’t show a code. Eventually I got a TPS code, I verified by back probing the sensor. A couple thousand miles so far no issues.
Hard to please –
FYI: I purchased this TPS for my 1991 Jeep YJ 4.0. The part worked as it should for a few months and then I started getting TPS out of range faults. After investigating the problem I found that the 3 pins that make up the connections were loose and when moved the resistance and voltage values would change. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the seller would be responsible for honoring the 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. New parts is the seller and they have done nothing but give me the run around on replacing the defective part. The seller wanted pictures for the vin and the mileage which neither would have any bearing what so ever on the matter. I am sure it was all a means of trying to evade accountability. So be for warned!
Update: New parts did eventually issue refund.

Lasts about six months to a year, but that’s the products we get now. Forced to replace with cheap china crap, or walk…

Works great so far. Have had it in for a couple months and so far it’s working perfectly.
