I’ve been having trouble starting my tractor I had it checked out he told me it worked just fine, (I watched him do to) but anyway the wire that goes into the starter (behind the nut where you hook up the wire) well when I brought the old starter & hooked it back up the whole wiring behind the starter came apart apparently the wire was just barely hanging on. I didn’t see it either, until I hooked it back up.
But the new starter started just fine & dandy hooked up right & all is well with my tractor now!!

Not only was it an easy swap out but it starts faster than when it was brand new. I do think I got a gen. 2 starter with a 9 tooth gear instead of the gen. 3 … it’s my understanding that the actual gen. 3 is smooth on the bottom and has greater torque.
