Wire was slightly shorter than original that I replaced and it lost continuity after running for only a few minutes now it doesn’t work at all. No spark and yes it is all spaced and installed correctly. Very frustrating..

The part from Stihl goes for over a hundred bucks so I went with this one obviously made in China. When you can buy a part in a “two pack” there is a reason. These only last about twenty hours of machine operation before the wiring starts to crack from heat and it starts grounding out before reaching the plug. This is a bad design from Stihl as the ignition wire runs just outside the head and is exposed to a lot of heat. The wire has a heat shield on it but the wire itself is of a material that hardens under heat fairly fast and cracks. In fairness to Cancanle, I have not purchased a replacement coil from Stihl as the price is just too ridiculous. If the wire used a silicone based material it would probably last a lot longer.
