Update 2022: a salt water environment is not good for these. In a year they rusted and corroded all the internal parts and none of them work anymore. Do not recommend for marine environment.

I bought these to replace aging and corroded switches in the dashboard of a ’02 Bayliner. They snapped right in the existing cutout; a perfect fit. The light makes a nice upgrade so you can see quickly what’s on. There are no wiring instructions, but the two silver connectors are the switched connection – one for power, the other for load. The gold/copper connector is a ground for the light. If you don’t hook up the ground the switch still works just without the light.

it is weird. i thought i had a broken unit but all the switches are the same. switch is on ON position when the side of switch with LED is up. which i find as reversed for my preference. and reversved compared to other switches i know.
Edit: was able to fix this, but had to dismantle the switch… also yellow pin remains +. negative is the white pin at other end

I installed 2 switch’s and both fell apart upon 1st time turning on lights.
The front of the rocker fell off in my hand!

Unlike other reviews I have seen of this product, I found that the switches replaced a faulty one in my RV trailer and are of the same quality or better. Fit was perfect based on the dimensions that are described in the product listing.
