So far, the one I used on my mower works as it should. I don’t usually leave it out in the rain, but probably have a couple of times, and no water problems. It does what I bought it to do.

A better switch than I need, but at this price I can have better! Ideal for my automotive project. And it looks cool!
Reality Check –
These switches are waterproof only as long as the rubber side shroud stays in place, and even then “waterproof “is a stretch. Water resistant is probably a better term.
The problem though, is that the rubber piece is very finicky and doesn’t want to stay put. It has a tendency to come off when placing the switch into the opening, and if the thickness is more than a thin sheet metal, the switch won’t snap into place. In my case, my dashboard is plastic, maybe a bit over 1/16” thick, and it was very difficult to get the switch to snap in. Any thicker and it would not have worked at all.
My recommendation is that if you are installing into a plastic location, look for a switch with a washer and nut on the bottom. Even though it will be more difficult to install, it will stay there.

The part of the switch that locks into the plastic hole… are broken on all of them… Not very impressed

Good Fit, Easy install, however the LED Indicator lights did not last as they failed 2 out of 5 units. Primary reason for purchase was the LED Indicator part of the light otherwise its just another switch.
