This is the 2nd time i have bought this exact item and both times the wire has burnt out. Tookvto mechanic and they said this part is faulty. Poor quality

Fortunately, I was able to discover online that this issue is common in fords. To verify that you have the same issue, just find where this plug goes into the blower assembly (under glove box on my expedition) and wiggle that plug housing a bit. If your blower comes on, it’s your issue.
It took about 10 minutes to clip off the old one and crimp this on. The blower fan works great again!

The wire crimps are total junk. Do not hold on the existing or harness wires. Difficult area to solder in. The wire leads pull out of harness easily leaving it totally useless. I cant see how to remove terminal pins so I can reattach the wires that have fallen out. Wires are oversized 12GA which is nice, except when trying to crimp it to the little 18gauge control wire on truck. This is a crap connection to try and get secure up under the dash board.

The plug and wires are of high quality but the supplied butt connectors are trash, no mutter what you do they keeps falling off and they are not heat shrink either.
Get your own butt connectors or solder the wires, do bother use the supplied ones.

It was easy to install. I just cut the old wires off and connected this one. It works great, it was easy to install and so much cheaper than the stealership.

Worked fine after installation. This is a semi-easy install, and if you’re not comfortable with cutting wires. I recommend getting someone else to do it for you.
The only thing I found odd was the smaller wires on the car portion didn’t quite match with the butt connectors that were large, so I had to add a little more force to get them to work together. Other than this, there were no issues and it works.

Heavier 12 ga. Wire on all 4 terminals. Easy to install & fixed problem. Would order again.

The wiring seems to be as good as you’d want. The OEM version may be made my folks held to a much higher standard, but the little things that make that kit different don’t necessarily make it better. The quality of the materials seems to be as good as OEM kits, but the included butt connectors are obviously cheap. Just install with good connectors and you’re still ahead. If this lasts, I’ll buy it again.

I was worried when I ordered this pigtail since it wasn’t listed as correct for my 2016 Expedition limited but figured it was worth a try. It fit my resistor perfectly. I had an intermittent issue where the blower motor would not come on when I started the car. I just started wiggling connectors behind the glove box until I saw an arc and the blower kicked on. It was this resistor connector, which after pulling it off, had dark terminals from high heat. After I recieved this new one it took about 10 minutes to install, my only criticism was the bit connectors but I had higher quality ones on hand. Worked out perfectly.
