Protect my bike of my sweat

I used this to protect my bike for a beach ride. Coated the whole bike except for brake rotors. Bike was exposed to a lot of ocean water along the ride. That was over a month ago and no corrosion. When I did this ride last year without protection spray, my chain and bottom bracket seized up and needed to be replaced. This stuff saved me $100 already.

Most important, my exhaust pipes are now smoking and nearly caught fire. Thankfully, I noticed it right away; chemical fires are some of the worst since water just makes it worse.
The spray comes out so fast and so thick that it gets on everything. I was careful to avoid my tires, rotors, etc but even still there was mist all over them, I cleaned that up and left it to dry. The next day I found the product had dripped all over everything I was so careful to avoid spraying and spent so much time cleaning off after the initial application.
That mess was difficult to clean up because it essentially dried like breakfast syrup and became extremely sticky which defeats the purpose. It’s supposed to protect, not attract dirt and road grime.
Even worse, when I finally was able to get it off my tires and brakes system, I started the bike to go for a ride, only to find my exhaust pipes are smoking.
I’ve washed my bike 3 times now with degreaser and soap and it’s still smoking and spitting sparks from the exhaust clamps. The parts of the bike I DID intend to spray all had a purple hue from the UV additive. It’s still showing in the divets and hard to reach crevices, but at least the majority of it is no longer visible. Now I just have to figure out how to get it out of the crevices around my exhaust clamps so my bike doesn’t catch fire while I’m riding down the road.
I will absolutely not be buying this product ever again.

The product arrived broken . There is no way to be able to use it . Is this the way to treat to the customer sending products in poor conditions ?

i rode alot in the snow and mud last winter. i have a vintage bike and it was getting rusty. on a whim i tried this stuff. i sprayed the entire bike down and followed direction. if you dont whipe the excess off it leaves a residue. but the residue washes off easily in the next wash.
a few days affer application the rust on the bike began to dissapear. the bike is now nearly rust free which is amazing for a 50 year old bike that spent the entire winter being rode in all weather conditions.
this is a great product.

I’m going to keep it, although the lid was cracked in half and I can’t use it. The product is awesome though!
