T2000KW –
It seems that most of the used cars I’ve bought have a missing battery hold-down bracket. I got this to replace the missing battery hold-down bracket in my Mazda and it works well. It’s sturdy, not made of plastic, so it won’t break on you like some do.
Stangs –
I installed a YELLOWTOP AGM battery and the stock battery bracket no longer held it in place. Both included J bolts are the same length as the front OEM J bolt, with longer threads. I opted to use the OEM aft J bolt as it’s built more robust and it’s shorter length fit perfectly. I also reused the stock hold-down nuts as they are better quality. Overall a good fit and my battery is safely held down again.
