The string gasket has good flexibility and is formed well so it sits just perfectly on the intake. The other gasket had a slight twist to it and wouldn’t set correctly. Tried to trim it and alter it. Tried to heat it. Ended up destroying it and having to dig the old one out of the garbage. I’m not sure what caused the twist. Still worth the money when just using the larger gasket.
