They don’t seem to be defective. But after installing them, I can hear a vacuum leak. It’s a lot more noticeable than before. I thought it was just in my head, so I ignored it. A month later, I got a check engine light. I checked the code and it indicates bank one has a leak. I have already replaced the intake manifold and throttle body gaskets, so that couldn’t be it. I tried to listen and pin point the vacuum leak but it was difficult with the engine running.

One day, I decided that I need to stop screwing around and just pull the intake manifold off and see if what’s wrong. The throttle body gasket looks fine, no sign of damage. Intake manifold gaskets look fine, no damage. However, the back gasket (for cylinder 5 and 6) was covered in oil. If the oil was just inside of the intake tube, that’s would not be the issue I’m looking for. But the oil was also outside of the gasket, which tells me the gasket wasn’t sealing the intake manifold properly. I can’t say for sure why it wasn’t sealing. But I know it wasn’t sealing properly even after torquing the bolts to proper spec. And It’s no longer returnable. So nothing I can do now. Maybe just bad luck. Don’t let my review discourage you from trying it. But pay attention to it. If there’s a vacuum leak, return it before the 30 days. Best of luck!

These are the ones. Not a whole lot to say about it than that. I could go off on a rant about who at Nissan thought it would be a good idea to build an engine so that I have to take the “top” off to change the sparkplugs! But I won’t.
If anything negative happens with the gaskets I’ll repost. Really doubt it though.

Perfect fit for my 2014 Frontier. Watch a video, you will have the intake off and the engine open, plug the holes or a dropped screw could cost a rebuild! They are quality silicone and press in perfectly.

If you change plugs and/or coils, you have to remove the intake and it’s almost guaranteed that you will introduce a small vacuum leak if the old ones have any serious miles. Get a set of these gaskets with your plugs, and consider new coils if you are past 100k on the originals as well.
