This tested well but couldn’t handle the voltage irregularity of the non-battery system on my snowmobile and killed both models I ordered.
The sensor and sensor body worked great after calibrating with a homemade readout module

I bought this for my Kubota BX2350 subcompact tractor. as it’s kept outside and the dashboard gauges stopped working. the temperature sensor threaded right into the block, and the wire was just enough to make it all the way up to the dash. now I know when my tractor is overheating because the grass clippings get caught in the radiator.

product seems to be pretty accurate for temperature-wise, display is very bright have not had it in direct sunlight but I do think you’d be able to read it.

On second heat cycle, unit just blinks three dashed lines. There is NO reset! Instructions say unit will blink if a temp of 248f is exceeded. But there is no reset button! Disconnecting the unit from power did nothing! It now just blinks. Coolant coming off of the head of any engine can drift over 250 after shutdown so why does it not reset to ambient on startup or have a reset. If the temp probe is toast then it is VERY fragile. A waste of time and money.

Love the product but very surprised with gauge of wire. I don’t like using line tappers and would rather solder on my connections and found the wire was very thin in that regard

Installed on my 2005 KTM 525 EXC. As the bike is warming up, I noticed a 30° temperature difference between this digital display and the analog thermometer built into the radiator cap. But as the bike got up to normal operating temperatures, the discrepancy went to zero. Not sure if it was the digital display or the thermometer cap that was inaccurate at lower temperatures. But I’m happy with its performance and operating temperatures because it works exactly as it is supposed to.
