Å Scott –
Perfect for my 2001 F250 keeping in the buy again file
JohnnyBgood –
This is the real deal Ford OEM part and not a knock off. Not sure why the dealership wants 2 times more for the same part, but rest assured this is the same and half the cost compared to a dealership. See picture as evidence. Buy in confidence. Worked perfectly to solve cold start issues on my my 2002 F250 Super Duty 7.3.
Check 12v to and from the relay with key on second position. If you have 12 on the right side heavy gauge post to the relay and no voltage at the left side heavy gauge post to the glow plugs, then it is highly possible your glow plug relay is defective and cause for cold start issues. My truck’s symptoms were no start with white smoke out the tail pipe while cranking.
Amazon Customer –
item was brittle and broke as soon as I attempted to place in vehicle
Dodge Packaging Specialties –
After buying 3 cheap ones that only worked once or twice i finally bought a motorcraft and it works every time. This what the Superduty needs
Thunderbuddy –
Did not open package returned product without hassle.
JohnnyBgood –
Was having real hard starts in the morning. Picked up one of these and replaced mine which disintegrated when removing. Put new relay in and put it all back together. Fired right up.

As described

Before I got this little guy put in, I was having to plug my truck in anything colder than 40 degrees if I wanted it to start right away. Obviously not an ideal situation.
If you own a 7.3 Powerstroke and actually care about it, then you already know that Motorcraft is the only way to go when it comes to solenoids and sensors. So any time you get a Motorcraft sensor at a decent price, it’s ALWAYS a good thing!
Installation is a breeze! Just make sure to disconnect the negative leads from EACH battery before removing old solenoid, otherwise you might be in for quite a shock!
No more plugging in for me!

Exactly as described and great price.
