    Good product and no complaints.

  2. Levi Susa

Works as it should at a much better price than the auto parts store in my town.

P2195 code …..Tried a cheap 02 sensor and P2195 code remained and O2 sensor would fail OBII test
This Motorcraft 02 sensor immediately passed OBII tests and vehicle no longer runs rough
Cats are only 1 year old from EBAY which may have caused premature 02 failure … OBII shows pending P0420 but P2195 code and rough idle are fixed for now …. pricey but it works

drivers side is easy. 5 minutes with 22MM wrench. Pass easy to get off, not easy to get unclipped or reclipped. best is if you have skinny arms like me – you can shove one arm in under the inner fender liner(bend the corner back). and get one hand in there to hold the receiving end of the wire, and get a long small straight point screwdriver to work the clip to get out and then to push the new one in. Pass side took every bit of 45 minutes. Big burly arms? not sure what you would do – this method won’t work for you.

    Still working

For O2 sensors, you can’t go wrong with OEM. Sure they cost a little more, but in the long run, knowing they will work and that you won’t have to replace some aftermarket brand sooner that you should saves you money in the long run. OEM easily last 150,000 miles, why get something that is only a little cheaper but will probably not last as long?

I replaced the upper sensors on a 2004 F150 with 150,000 miles. The truck had major misfires and had gotten so bad that it had destroyed the catalytic converters on both sides. Figured they were due for replacement since I was replacing the cats (especially the passenger side one, what a pain to get to). Lower sensors were not giving any errors and are easy to replace if needed in the future.

One thing to note, Ford specs different part numbers for upstream and downstream sensors, and they physically look different. Most aftermarket sensors use the same part number for both upstream and downstream. I will stick with what the designers of the vehicle spec, not some aftermarket companies idea of what “should work”.

I tried the Chinese cheap sensors for the upstream and downstream sensors on my 2001 F150. While the downstream sensors did ok, the upstream were not giving the data the ECM needed. I replaced them with the genuine Motorcraft sensors and the check engine light did not come back on in 5 miles like the cheap ones. Performance and fuel mileage also improved! I’ll go straight to the OEM sensors from now on!

    Oem specs. Perfect fit

  10. Waylon Cates

Perfect fit on my 2006 Ford F150
