Excellent product and communication. If you need to replace your 02 Senors on your Ford F53 Stripped Chassis, you need to stick with Motorcraft. Otherwise, you will end up chasing a problem that doesn’t exist, and it will cost you potentially thousands of dollars. I experienced this problem and luckily I found an honest Ford mechanic that saved me from replacing a $5800 catalytic converter.

2000 F150 5.4, I had to use a torch to get the old one out which was only 3 years old. The pipes were replaced 3 years ago too. Yet the threads had to be taped in order to install the new one.

I purchased these oxygen sensors based upon The part number from Ford That was on the packaging. I checked with 2 other for dealers before purchasing this could make sure that it was that correct application for my vehicle. The person that advertise this on Amazon stated that it was not for my vehicle which is in error. As the price of parts is only going up , I purchased these oxygen sensors at tremendous savings From the seller on Amazon. The only reason that I said tremendous savings is because everyone else is increasing their prices due to inflation.

Approximately 12″ wire and thicker body than previous Motorcraft sensors I’ve purchased. Failed one shown with measuring tape, pic of new thicker one taken from the web. New one working fine for a week so far. Hopefully won’t break like the thin body version. Takes only a small bump to the headers on a curb to push the front sensor against the motor housing or rear sensor against the axle, break one or both sensors, and throw a code.

These are cheaper through Amazon and are Genuine Motorcraft Quality

I ordered 4 O2 sensors for my 06 Ford E150 XL, because someone stole the entire exhaust from it. I didn’t want to put a whole bunch of aftermarket parts back on it, so I replaced them with these Motorcraft original sensors. They work exactly as they should, and I had no problems having it smogged here in California. Just remember that if you’re installing any O2 sensor, with the intent to have it smog tested, you’ll have to drive the vehicle for up to 100 miles before it will be ready for testing, so just be aware of that beforehand. Obtaining a moving permit from DMV would be best if your vehicle isn’t currently registered. (That was my case). I had to drive about 50 miles, before they came online. Some will have to drive more, some less.
You can’t go wrong with installing OEM parts.
