I was a little leery to purchase because some of the problems encountered by others in some of the reviews.
Received product promptly and waited a couple of weeks before trying. Fearing that my gas may be siphoned I finally installed one on my 2019 Nissan Frontier which does not have a remote opening fuel door.
Easy to install, turned to hear three clicks, started engine, voila!, no dash board light came on. Two weeks later after filling tank up, put gas cap back on with only two clicks, still no dash board lights. Me, very happy, no problemas, and still have one cap left for future use if I loose or forget one.

My truck has duel fuel tanks. These caps are supposted to be keyed alike. One cap has a different number on the key lock then the other cap and four keys. Need another cap that has the the same number has the other one that the keys fit. Returned the first order to Amazon. They replaced with another kit that all the locks and keys matched for free. All is good. Thanks Amazon. Updated my rating to five stars.

I believe this company took over the Stant co. That’s why I picked these. When I was doing full service fueling, they were never any trouble to use. Electric gas caps were the only more impressive ones.

They do fit and lock fine on my 1995 150 with duel tanks. I also tried one on my 1993 Bronco and it went on and locked . I will be ordering a few more matched sets . Shipping went well . I just hope they seal as they are supposed to.
It’s to bad a fella can’t buy sets of 12 with one key size .

I used to get my gas stolen weekly. But not anymore! These are easy to use, work great, are durable and secure and have solved my problem completely. I have not had my gas stolen since installing these and I don’t know why I waited so long to get em!

Unfortunately these caps fit well but do not seal the tank properly causing it to trip an emissions code also the locks are very very tight

$60K for a 4Runner and no locking gas door or cap!
I have two Toyotas so I purchased a double set keyed alike, so I only have to carry one key. This works well. Each cap comes with two keys marked GAS. Look OEM, fit well and they don’t trip any check engine codes.
A couple of things to note: The lock isn’t spring loaded, meaning the lock needs to be reset to the locked position (rotate the key 90 degrees) after securing. Failing to do this will leave the cap fully removable. But this also means I don’t have to keep the key in position to remove the cap once it’s unlocked, so perhaps that’s more useful.
Also, the plastic retention cord securing the OEM cap to the gas door will not fit the new cap, but the new cap fits into cap rest on the inside of the door, so there is someplace to rest it while fueling.
All in all, a good replacement that corrects an oversight by Toyota.

Highly recommended. My only problem is the fact that you need the key to lock it back up. I used this so both my trucks have the same key since they both need the same type of gas cap.
