Great replacement for the cheap Polaris plug that’s known to fail. Would be nice if wiring instructions were included but I had the service manual and the wiring schematics are available online if you don’t. I’ve installed two of these for customers. Highly recommend

Worked good, harness is better protected than the oem harness

After dealing with Chrysler and then giving me the wrong replacement part because their system is wrong. I thought I would give this one a try. What Really threw them off is because it’s a four prong(4wire), but only uses three wires. The 4th Can be removed as it’s redundant.

good quality and fit my MAP sensor

Was having TMAP error codes with check engine light on my 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800. Idle was really low. Wire harness kit fixed all my issues- check engine light and error codes are gone. Idles perfectly. Very satisfied! I have a picture of the old connector and a picture of how the new wire harness wires should be matched to the old harness wires. Green to pink, yellow to orange, blue to pink/white, white to purple in that order with the connector tap facing up.

Works great on my 2012 ranger 800. The wire colors don’t match up, so if you have a 2012 ranger 800 here’s what wires go to what

When you go to replace your OEM connector with this new one, just know that the wire colors will not match. I don’t know if that is Polaris’s fault or the manufacturer of this harness. It’s easy to look up in the service manual, which wire colors go to which pins on this connector and sensor, however, Polaris is famous for using different wire colors for each year of vehicle, even though the sensors were the same. So, like it or not, you will have to make a little chart to keep track of which wire color goes to which OEM wire. If you have broken wires, though, in your OEM harness, then this will solve your problem.

The Tmap sensor wiring began to fail causing the engine to run rough for no apparent reason. Was able to fix it by cleaning out the connection plug that connects to the sensor, but this only lasted for a couple short rides. Engine began running rough again, wiggled plug, engine smoothed out. Tried to fix and clean the connector again, connector just failed. Bought this connector repair kit, spliced it in, used heat gun to shrink butt-connectors, and put in a new Tmap sensor as well since the connector blades on it were likely not pristine. After repair, engine started and ran perfectly again.
The only tricky part, the wire colors are not the same. I photographed and wrote down the color order of the wires on the stock connector. Then you can pull the rubber boot down on this repair connector and list the colors of it’s wires, matching them in the correct order. Write these down so you know what color wires connect to this repair connector. Worked very well. I think the total cost was about $42 since the new Tmap sensor was about $26 through Amazon as well. Polaris wanted over $70 for the same Bosch Tmap sensor # 0 261 230 217
