  1. Interceptor

I’m using this to measure engine speed with an Arduino. Red wire is +12v, black wire gnd, white wire signal to Arduino input with 1k pull-up to 5v. Sensor is reading gear teeth on flywheel and works well up to 6khz, I haven’t tried to read any faster so I don’t know what the upper limit is. Seems fairly insensitive to trigger gap, I spent very little time setting it up and it worked perfectly the first time. The Polaris gearcase speed sensors seem to be much more sensitive to gap and mounting angle.

  2. Bull

Sensor was correct, but harness was too short and connector was wrong for my application (that description said it would fit). I cut the connector off and assembled with the original connector and part of the harness.

  3. Joe Weckwerth

Easy install, good price, works as it should. Fixed the erratic speed display on my 2008 sportsman 800 EFI. I would and have recommended this product to others.

  4. Matthew Boike

It lasted 70 miles before becoming sporadic and then quit. Won’t buy chineseum next time.

  5. Amazon Customer

    Good fit and works great.
