I’ve used several detailers. None were bad. But Mother’s has been outstanding. There is a VERY noticable difference in my car’s shine since I starting using the product. I had my front door open the other day and heard people in the driveway, I looked into the side of my car in the driveway and could see exactly who was out there in the mirror shine of my car.
I was walking up to my car in the parking lot the other day and just said to myself … “wow, your car looks better than any other car in the (shopping center) parking lot.”
Now I garage my car. It’s not left outside when I’m not using it. And I detail it once a week inside and out. Usually doesn’t take much time. I detailed my car last night before putting it away. I thought to myself … “when was the last time you took your car to the car wash?” The answer surprised me. 2 months. My car has been to the car wash in 2 months. And it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. But again, I use the Mother’s detailer (car body and windows) every week.

I don’t know how the synthetic clay bar works but it does. Leaves the ‘dirt residue’ which you polish off along with the liquid. Then I use another microfibre to get a high gloss. A car can probably be done in an hour. I did a test on 2 panels, one with this product the other with Nu Finish. Liquid soap took the Mothers straight off, nu finish was still 80% in tact. So use minimum soap when washing after Mothers. Good product. Recommended.

I was skeptical about the reusable clay pad, but it worked like a charm. The handle makes it easy to hold and I never dropped it once.
The ceramic coating itself went on easily and left a magical shine on my truck.
The only thing I would mention is to double check your surfaces after application – I missed drying a few spots here and there and had to spray and wipe again, but that’s par for the course for me.
I am very satisfied and this will be standard for me now!

So I have always been a wash and wax girl from the time I owned my first car until now in my 50’s. One of the shop guys where I work recommended this kit and while I had heard of the clay bars, I was too afraid to use one thinking I would mess up the finish of the paint. He showed me how to use the detailing spray with the bar and I have since used this kit on both my car and our tritoon boat. Great, shiny, results! The bar takes off any residue of any sort leaving a smooth shine. I have not ordered the Mothers ceramic wax spray and will go back over both my car and boat again. Great product. Buyer note that it did take about 2-3 weeks for this product to ship from my Amazon order.

Like the product but the spray bottle disappoints.
Bought this twice as I have bought many Mother’s detailing products in the past.
Cleans well and levels off fast with pleasant smell.
Problem is the spray bottles have failed well before the product is used up- twice.
I end up unscrewing the sprayer and pouring the product on the microfiber.

Ceramic detailer is good but the applicator is crap, it sticks and leaves applicator marks no matter how much detailer is used even did it on a cool day, I’m glad I didn’t pay $80.00 for it, got it on special for half that, now on the shelf collecting dust, might pop out and get a clay mat.

Have used mothers products a lot threw the years save your money this product streaks horrible on two newer well kept both vehicles are dark reds the streaks this product leaves takes a long time to remove as the owner of a used truck center we have a lot of products we use the is the worst I’ve seen in 30 years if you have a nice car or truck and want to keep it nice looking don’t buy this it’s like removing tree sap extremely disgusted
