After reading the negative review that said “these struts are too stiff” I knew that these were the struts for me. My 2001 Camry couldn’t get over the smallest speed bump without bottoming out, even at a crawl. My 1990 Camry had no problem with the same speed bumps. After installing all four of them, my car is now a drive-able car. I still go easy on the speed bumps and it rarely bottoms out. It handles freeway curves so much nicer. BUY THEM, they will solve your problems. I installed all four myself. It was pretty easy because the bolts were not rusty. It might have been more difficult if the bolts were rusty.

Installed all four of these Quick Struts on my 2000 Toyota Solara and what a difference it has made as far as ride comfort, safety, steering, and it is a very nimble car to drive again.
As an assembly the front struts were very easy to install and for the price, why would anyone not order this assembly as a whole. Not to mention the danger you face when dealing with removing and installing a compressed spring on strut units. Strut assembly comprised of new new springs, boot, and mount on both ends.
Installation was easy for a shadetree mechanic with proper tools for the two front struts. The rear struts were a bit more of a hassle to install (no fault of the strut assembly) because you have to deal with the removal of the side trim, seat belts, and the back speaker package cover. One just has to purchase new trim rivets, available at any auto parts place. Also you need to have a good torque wrenech to ensure bolts are tighten to specification and not under or over torqued.

I bought 4 new strut assemblies for my 2000 Toyota Camry. I had my 2 mechanics install them on my vehical and it took about 20 minutes for each assembly. They did have problems with the right rear strut because it was not assembled correctly from the factory. They discovered that the unit was not torque to specs, but they made short of the problems and I was on the road again. Torque specs are given with the assembles, so make sure you check that the nuts are correctly torqued before you install the unit. This will save you time when installing the unit on the car. The price was right, and the shipping was free. I could not beat the price locally.

I got these for my 99 Camry and they are great fit and function. The car is rock solid now without having lost any of its prior smoothness. The car was sitting up pretty high after installation, however it settled to required height only after a few day of driving. I would recommend these to anyone. Install was a breeze without any hiccups.

Great struts. Easy install, fit perfect on my 2003 Solara. I used OEM nuts because the provided hardware were odd size (13mm). Car sits a little higher now, but not too bad, they say it settles. The ride feels very floaty, gotta love the old 90s grandma car feel of the ride.

The struts work well, and my 1999 Toyota Camry rides much better now. Before putting in the new struts, I had two passengers in the back of my vehicle. The additional weight caused the bottom of the vehicle to hit the ground after going over bumps. With these new struts, I no longer have that issue, and the entire car rides better now. I was able to put them in myself using hand tools, a jack, and jack stands, which wasn’t easy, but it is still doable.
