Gave this a fair amount of time after installation to write a review. Decent quality , decent ride. Put 15,000 miles on them with no issues . Some say this brand is junk, this is my second set in 12 years on a 2007 Dodge ram 1500 quad cab with 8 foot bed. Lots of dirt roads, loads and tows. Great product especially when maintaining stability when carrying weight, you can feel the difference

Installed on my 08 Dodge Ram 1500. Install was a little tricky as the bottom strut mount bolts tend to rust inside the lower control arm bushing. Had to cut out the old bolts and install new bushings and bolts. Struts were a little stiffer then the stock ones which is nice.

Putt on 07 Dodge Ram 1500 fit great did within 2 hrs. upper ball joint had to be replaced to anyone that has to replace ball joint you have to buy the hole control arm, you can buy the ball joint at any parts store but it will not fit in your stock arm to big, must purchase newer arm then you can replace the ball joint once that one goes out. Part stores will not tell you that cause they don’t no that information

Works amazing so far, I’ve had it installed for over two weeks now and it still works great perfect replacement if on a budget 10/10 would recommend. Not sure how off-road rated it is but for a regular strut it’ll be perfect for everyday driving. Great quality, great price as well!

Truck was riding terrible with the original shocks and struts. Saw the strut/spring assembly and thought that would save money on installation since no special tools like spring compressors would be needed. Installed them in my driveway in less than two hours. Truck drives and rides like new and the front sits about 1 inch higher now. The truck looks great. That factory rake with the rear being 3 inches higher is now gone and the truck is level. Label on the strut stated that the vehicle might appear higher until the springs settled in. It has been over a week and over 300 miles and the truck is right where it needs to be. Awesome.

These went in fine. The fork at the bottom was a touch out of alignment, nothing a pry bar couldn’t fix. This was for a 2006 dodge ram 1500 SLT 4×4. It is common for the bolt to get stuck in the bushing on these trucks, and mine was no exception. I had to cut the old shock out at the shock fork with a sawzall and drive the old bushing out using a roughly 35mm socket (or whatever the size it is to get the drive shaft nut off) and a mini sledge. Just make sure you grind down the remaining shock fork piece so the socket can fit over it and your golden.I also bought the monroe 907971 bushing kit which worked well. Note that the bolt shank is just a touch to long, so I added 2 more washers. I drove the bushing back into the a-arm using lithium grease and the same socket that I got the old one out with. Hint: If you use a cold chissle to drive the old bushing edges off the wall of the a-arm prior to driving it out with the socket, it allows w-d to penetrate and helps it come out easier. The shocks ride about the same height and are at least as good as the oem shocks were when new. No complaints there. I gave it 5 stars mainly because its so handy to have it pre-assembled.

Truck had 134,000 miles with stock struts. Few weeks ago, the driver side front strut started leaking really bad. After further inspection, the passenger side front strut was starting to leak, as well. The truck had not been handling pot holes well, and the entire front end just seemed to float. After 2 quotes of about $900 to install new struts, I decided to takle this myself. I am by no means a mechanic, but I am mechanically inclined. It took about 5 hours for driver side and out 3 hours on passenger side. The new struts went in perfect. However, as many posted, the lower strut bolts that attached to the lower control arm, were impossible to remove as corrosion was the primary factor. Both old struts had to cut out. And as such, the remaining bolt shank left in the bushing, rendered the bushing to be trashed. Had to hammer out the old bushing and install a new Moog bushing assembly. Good news is that it came with new bolts and nuts. I was fortunate to read other reviews and went ahead and purchased the bushing assembly, while ordering the strut assembly. For me, each of these bushings took about 2 hours each, to remove and install. Other than the lower bolts and bushings, the install went fine. The new struts have made a HUGE difference. Not only does it react well with pot holes, the handling is much better. I’m not skipping over 3 lanes of highway after a hit. Going for an alignment in a few days. I measured the truck height before and after, and the truck height increased on the front end by about 1 inch. Very happy with Monroe strut assembly, as the ride is much better and tigher. Recommend Moog lower bushing assembly as the combo worked well. Also, changed out the lower sway bar links, as they looked worn.

***4.5 YEAR UPDATE*** Began to notice odd tire wear. Went to swap tires and did inspection. COIL CRACKED. I can not believe they only lasted this short timeframe. And review says great rust resistance…I think not. This truck was used for normal driving. No off-road.
