So I was a little Leary about the fit. The original shocks have a larger round end than the replacement shock. The mounting hole however is the same so it made no difference once installed. Everything fit fine and the ride is now much better.

I ordered these for my 2013 Lexus RX350 and the fit perfectly. They take a little effort to get the holes lined up and pushing the expanded shock up to get the lower bolt in but I was able to do it without assistance. As an heads up I could not get the lower bolt/nut off the connection point and ended up having to purchase a air powered impact wrench which did the trick. Even after purchasing the air wrench I still ended up saving +/- $200 doing the job myself and now I have the air wrench for future projects!

This shock is a clunker. I bought 2 shocks for the rear of my SUV, made the worst clunking noise ever. Don’t buy this shock. Replaced them with KYB, best shock for the vehicle.

Bought these as part of a complete package for a 2012 Lexus RX 350, front and rear struts and shocks. The rear installation should have been simple but it was virtually impossible yo get the lower shock bolts our, finally had to cut them with a Sawzall. The new shock top mount seemed slightly wider than oem, wasn’t a big problem but did have to grind them down slightly to get them to fit in upper shock mount. An easier solution may be to remove the upper shock mount housing from the chassis with removal of three bolts. Helped restore the ride quality back to normal, old shocks were way past worn out and these seem great.

Installs great but squeaked like crazy..Had to replace them with KYB shocks. The top head on the Monroe’s is 1/4 wider than stock. KYB is exact match.. no more squeaking

I changed both. Ride is good however one squeaks very bad and one occasionally. I am returning it.
