made ride so much better on jeep wrangler

  2. Robert P

    Great for stock replacements!

  3. Jody Wilson

Ride is so much better than with the blown shock. It is a great option for the price. Easy to change will do until I can afford the lift I want.

  4. Stephanie

Fit My 2000 Jeep Wrangler Perfectly, the ride is much more smooth. Probably has something to do with my OEM Shocks being 16 years old.

  5. Carp

They work as they should. Price was better than everybody else.

I was very short on cash and needed to put shocks on my 2006 wrangler. I picked these because of the price point, but also was hopeful that these shock might ride more softly on the road as I normally don’t use my Jeep for serious offroading. I’ve had them for a day and I can say that they seem well made (made in USA) and they definitely provide a soft ride. These are really inexpensive, so I don’t have super high expectations, but if I get a solid few years out of them I feel I will have gotten a good deal. Do not pick these shocks for extreme duty – they will not make you happy. If you’re broke and you need some cheap shocks that do better than blown/broken units, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again. I will update this review if I have any issues with these shocks and with a report on how long they last me.

I have had expensive shocks and low priced shocks but I have to say these are the best quality affordable shocks around. I here people coming lain that their $20 shocks don’t last as long as their $60 shocks but that is to be expected and it makes me laugh. I’ll just replace my shocks more often because they are affordable and that will allow me to maintain my day one performance throughout the life of the vehicle. I’ve had $80 Bilstien’s that lasted 70,000 miles but they were leaky and mostly dead by then. Yes there are more aggressive shocks but for a good basic ride these gas charges shocks are hard to beat.

***UPDATE*** do not spend the day jumping your Jeep off of sand dunes. These shocks will eventually fail after several jumps.

  8. Lovechicken

Upgraded on my jeep and somehow it made the ride softer and more bouncy than 20 year old factory shocks.
