- REDUCES SAG UNDER LOAD — Ideal for occasionally hauling or towing varying loads; heavy gauge, calibrated coil spring reduces sag when loaded up to 1,200 lbs. (capacity limited by suspension, tires and transmission; see owner’s manual)
- EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING — Tuned specifically for each application, full-displaced valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide ride consistency
- CONSISTENT RIDE — OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and PTFE-banded piston helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces
- LONGER SERVICE LIFE — Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear while heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod delivers long life
- IMPROVES PERFORMANCE — Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade

Fits a two door 1993 S-10 Blazer 4×4 if you really want it to. It’s not gonna be easy. The springs are positioned in such a way that it is extremely difficult to put the nut on the top two bolts. My flex head 13 mm wrench would not fit so I had to get a regular Wrench and bend it to a 90° angle to fit up alongside the spring. Had someone hold it in place while I wrenched from the top to snug the bolt down. Did not notice a difference in ride height, but did notice a significant amount of stability in the rear end. No longer bucks like a horse when I’m off-roading

Ok, so…typically and historically shocks are sold by the single unit. even the Sensa-Trac front shocks are sold one by one. NOT THESE. You get a pair for the price. This is not listed on Amazon’s site, though it does show two shocks in the image – much like when you buy one item it shows several different views. So I have a 2nd pair coming that I dont need. I thought the price was steep but my shocks get beat to heck for my job (hauling stuff about 1000+ miles per week) so I ponied up the bucks.
I havent installed them yet so I will have to write a second review this weekend after they are installed. What I can tell you now is that when you buy the Reflex shocks, they come pre-compressed and tied with platic retainers. You just cut them off once you have them installed. Not the case with these. You will need large arms or a 2nd jack to compress them into place.
Edit:
Putting these on was a tough job; if you arent very mechanically inclined id suggest just having a shop do it. Its not that its complicated; just that if you have the 2.2L with barebones suspension, you wont get enough clearance even raising the vehicle’s body all the way up. You will lift the truck before you have the clearance needed to compress the shocks into place. If you have the 4.3 with a more robust suspension, you may be fine. I wound up rasing the body as far as I could, then using a jack to slowly compress the shocks into place, then using a hammer to lightly tap it onto the stud. If you try this, you will have to be patient and careful to not wedge the shock against the axle and damage it.
That said, its totally worth it. They ride very nicely even when the bed is empty, and really help the ride quality when loaded. They respond quickly to uneven pavement, especially concrete pavement when there are sudden drops in elevation on the highway. I highly recommend these shocks to anyone who travels with wildly varying loads.

These shocks help keep the rear of my truck from sagging. Good product.👌

I have a heavy camper shell on the bed and it’s rigged up for camping with a portable ac, framed out wooden bed with storages a small flat panel TV. The old shocks were gone. These new shocks I was skeptical about. A week earlier I installed helper spring set to the rear of the leaf springs. It brought it up almost leveled but rode and handled crappy still. Installed these and it brought up the height just enough to make it look perfect. It rides so smooth now with everything loaded up. It’s only been 2 days but as of now I am very impressed 👍.

Works great. Didnt notice any additional harshness but my truck has a heavy tonneau on the back

Easy to install great fit.

Running these with 2 inch drop blocks on the stock leaf springs, so these shocks are about the same length as stock. The Rear suspension is way too soft and these increase the spring rate and improve the handling a lot especially on S10 blazer that are a lot heavier than a pick up in the back end. With Moog ZQ8 coil springs up front and these on the rear it makes a poor mans Extreme Blazer for a fraction of a name brand drop kit.

Easy install and high quality product. I gained 2″ in ride height. Fast delivery, got here five days earlier.

Be cautious about the warranty. I purchased two sensa-trac shocks to replace the rear OEM shocks on my 2002 Sonoma. The OEM ones blew out (oil all over the place) the first time I hauled a decent load. The new shocks greatly increased my load capacity and improved handling – especially when heavily loaded. After a couple of years of hauling heavy trailers etc, one of the sensa-tracks started leaking oil. I removed the shocks and took them to a Monroe dealer. The dealer would not warranty the shocks and said to contact Monroe. Monroe has an online warranty claim form that directed me to a defunct web page. I next contacted Monroe customer service via phone and they would not warranty the shocks because they were purchased through Amazon. Amazon was then contacted and cheerfully agreed to send new shocks, in the meantime my truck sat on blocks for several days. Next time I would buy a brand other than Monroe. Amazon was the bright spot in this ordeal.
