this is a very nice heavy duty shock. the only thing about this part number and others like it is I like a shock boot to cover the exposed rod. I don’t really know why it is exposed but I ordered after market boots to cover the rod. keeps it clean and looks better to me. but very firm riding shock.
CAT HERDER –
They immediately stopped the front end bouncing on the highway. Use the orange blaster stuff to loosen the rusty nuts. I put a coating of Nufinish wax to keep them looking good. The video didn’t show the guy swearing.

Monroe make good shocks and it’s hard to go wrong with them. I used these on my 1984 E350 motorhome and it was a quick and easy replacement.
