First impressions are good. These appear practically identical to OEM and similar aftermarket parts. Seemingly solid materials, as one would expect and hope for, though only time will tell. Everything seems well formed and free of defects. Happy to have a full replacement set for my 1999 Crown Vic which has been experiencing misfiring issues. Though admittedly I’m not certain that it’s an ignition issue at this moment, but perhaps instead low compression. Nonetheless, I’m glad I’m able to eliminate one variable with these parts.

Set of 8 Curved Boot Ignition Coil Pack DG508 & Iridium Spark Plugs SP413 Compatible with Ford F150 E150 E250 Crown Victoria Lincoln Mercury 4.6L V8 Replacement for DG457 FD503
These are nice quality parts and the ignition coils are similar to OEM. We prefer to use Titanium spark plugs but these copper spark plugs should work just as well. They are individually boxed and arrived undamaged. We will be doing the swap out this weekend and we are excited to get our F150 back to running great again. We will update more once we have the installation complete. At this point, we recommend this coil and plug set. It is a really great value as well.

This set of 8 curved boot ignition coil pack and iridium spark plugs came just in time to replace my old ones on my Ford truck. I like the ceramic and ribbed insulator to hep prevent missed sparks. They were easy to install and although it is too soon right now to tell, but I appreciate the epoxy resin feature to help prevent thermal breakdown or moisture intrusion. These honestly look and feel like the real deal as far as spark plugs are concerned, however, I will come back to update if I notice differently.

These coils came very nicely packed in their box, they have individual cut outs in the foam for the coils. They seem to be fairly exact copies of the OEM originals and they don’t have any obvious issues. The spark plugs came well packaged too, they are in individual boxes with a cardboard sleeve inside to protect the threads. I do wish the boots came with the Spark Plug Grease pre applied and it would have been nice to have gotten Motorcraft Spark Plugs but the included ones are probably fine. In all, I think this is a good set of coils and compared to the super high prices of actual Ford Motorcraft coils, I think this is a good deal.

I had 2 weak coils and at this price ( A great Value compared to buying individual coils) I decided it better to change all at once.
I have changed individual coils in the past only to have the others fail shortly after.
I would replace all coils at once and this price lessens the pain.

My Ford pickup truck uses the iridium plugs because they last for a long time. I only have to do a complete tune up about every 70,000 miles. I’ve had this plugs and coil set for a couple of months waiting for a good time to do the exchange. This was a perfect weekend. Most of the plugs and coils on my engine are easy to reach but the last two in each bank really are a pain. You need to use an extension and flex joint, and it is still a challenge. It’s good to have an air hose handy to flush out the plug well. And a vacuum or a piece of rubber hose in case you need to fish the plug out while working blind. As a consequence, you don’t want to have to replace plugs or coils more often than you have to. Whatever the expense, it’s cheaper than having to do the job sooner than needed. In the past I’ve used Ford OEM parts. But the coils are about $20 each and the plugs are usually about $8-10. So, in the past I’ve spent almost $200-240.
I gave these a try, and I put them side by side with the OEM parts. To be honest I can’t tell the difference. They feel as well made. For me an important issue is how well the coil boot seals to the plug. I live in a rural area, and have to deal with flooded, muddy roads part of the year and some deep snow drifts and salt spray. It’s not unusual for me to get a lot of mud and water thrown up underneath the hood and have to hose it off and blow it clean. In the past I’ve had some trouble with the OEM plug set getting a small miss because of water and dirt intrusion. I hate having to clean plugs. These parts look like a tight match and are going to create a good watertight and dust-tight seal. I fully expect them to last the 70,000 miles or more, that the more expensive ford parts would.
I don’t think they could do anything to make the installation any easier. It’s just the way the engine mounts. But making a premium product that will last is the best solution. I do wish that they had included silicon grease to make it a little easier to get the boots on. Besides which it helps to seal the plugs against moisture. But, a tube of non-conductive silicon grease only costs a couple of dollars. I recommend using it
