Got these for a lichtenberg setup but the fronts are not flat across so they don’t clamp tight on my nails. These are basic clamps but I was able to solder the wire to them so they will work.

Yes, its a clamp. No, its not copper! Copper-plated steel, sticks hard to a magnet. Unfortunately this was the second item in my recent order with inaccurate and misleading description.
