Threads are compatible with Dura max scepter 14 gal. Fuel caddy. This one has the 1/4 npt threaded vent if your thinking about modification with a schrader valve. This cap is the solution that works to eliminate siphoning or constantly pumping the handle if you add just a little air into the tank with a ball pump or manual bike tire pump.

The vent on my gas cap for my 6.6 gallon quicksilver/mercury gas tank failed. I could not find one anywhere and then I found this one on Amazon. I read a couple of reviews and decided to take a chance and order it. It fits perfectly. I’m very happy with it.

Was a bit sceptic when I placed the order item arrived it is 100 % genuine item tried it works as it should do air screw turns in 0ut for my fits my 12 litre and 25 ltr quicksilver fuel tank haven’t tried any other but I amagine it will fit

This cap is a direct replacement for my 3-gallon Quicksilver (Mercury) external gas can for my outboard motor. Good quality and good seal. Vented. I replaced the broken original cap that it came with.
