I’ve been using Meguiars products since 1997. When I was younger, I would go through the whole multi-step process of using compound, Polish, and then wax. Having all black cars/SUVs I incorrectly thought that’s what I needed to do. It would leave my cars’ paint in pristine showroom condition but man it was a exhausting process. Now that I’m a tad older and and a tad wiser, Meguiars #6 Professional Cleaner Wax is all I need. It cleans, polishes and protects the car’s paint in one easy step. I’ve applied it both by hand and with an orbital buffer. Spend the extra cash and get yourself an orbital buffer or other buffer. You can thank me later. This stuff goes on easy, you only need a thin layer, let it dry to a haze, and then wipe off with a clean microfiber. I use the yellow microfiber ones from Costco that I buy in bulk. After clearing off all the cleaner wax, I follow up with a light spray of Meguiars spray detailer to give it that showroom shine. One step and I’m done. Maybe it’s my aging eyes but it sure looks as good as the multi step process. Then again, it probably is my aging eyes. It cleans off most light oxidation, light scratches and other imperfections. I usually apply it every 2-3 months and double coat the flats (roof, hood, trunk, etc). Great stuff. This 64 oz bottle is cost effective as well.

I’ve used Meguiars for over 20 years from Deep Crystal to Gold Class to Nxt Gen to Ultimate. I bought this as a Prime day deal considering half a gallon was less than 16oz of the Ultimate wax. This produced gloss, depth and clarity in my vehicle that I’ve never been able to achieve before and I just did a quick wash and wax, no compound or polish as I was pressed for time. It also wiped off easier than any product I’ve ever used.

Seem to clean paint with paint removal. Nice!

  6. Smitty

Did a nice job of light cleaning in addition to leaving a great shine

  7. REMROB

Easy to use One Step clean, polish and protect. This is more of a Cleaning Paint Polish with a little protection. This is not a long-term Sealant or Paint Protection. Great product for neglected Paint. Easy to use in sun or shade. Highly Recommended!

top where not tight cause the wax to leak out about a half cup i need it to do the job , but i can’t wait to seen it back i have to take that lost

This is Best and Easiest to use that I know of. Just Wipe on, let dry and Wipe Off. Year’s ago, I used Wesley’s Auto Polish, and this stuff is as close to it that I have found that is affordable. WalMart sell’s the Meguiar’s Lite Duty Cleaner Wax for $7.45/16oz, so get this 64oz #6 Medium Duty Cleaner/Polish/Wax, for LESS MONEY THAN 4 of the 16oz Walmart LITE DUTY and it will clean and polish better plus Wax protection, IMO. After Waxing with the #6, go behind with Armoral on all the Plastic and Rubber Parts includeing the Taillight and Headlight Len’s to to Remove the Wax and Rejuvuvenate all the Plastic and Rubber Part’s. FYIM Plastic and Rubber part’s will Dry Out, Shrink, Crack, and Rot, Just like Wood Does. Use Armoral Genorously and Often to PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING. When the Black plastic part’s start to turn a white shade, the Plastic is starting to DRY OUT.
