Yes its a lot of work but the end result is nothing but great. You wont be sorry for treating your auto
paint to this great shine. It takes a little time but the end result is second to none.

A friend of mine bought this and he was so happy with it that I had to buy one. I used it yesterday on my Red 2017 XT-5 Cadillac and it looks just great. I’m 90 and I found it very easy to use and the car looks just like it did the day we bought it.

I just used on my truck which stays outside, garage has the good cars in it. This stuff goes on easy and comes off easy. It left a nice shine and the water beads great. I can’t quite speak to longevity; but, with how easy it is to use, doing every few months isn’t a problem. Not like the old days of carnuba wax and pastes. Plus, the kit comes with a ceramic touch up shine; so I’m betting gives a nice boost to shine and water resistance. I’ll be using for all my cars.

After stripping old wax off of my silver 2020 Honda CR-V, I applied Meguiar’s Hybrid ceramic wax (round bottle) per product instructions. Liked the smooth finish, so a week later I washed & waxed again with same product, no strip this time. Nice! Two weeks later, I washed again and used the ceramic detailer (spray bottle) only per instructions on the bottle. HOOBOY…Another level of shine! I am VERY impressed with the mirror finish the detailer left on my SUV. Light and reflections just jump off the surface. Looks like a real jewel. Finished wash, dry, spray wax detailer and trim detailing in an hour. Got me wanting to wash/wax every week!
Because of Its tendency for durability, I know you’re supposed to apply ceramic wax only every few months. Due to the cold winters in Northern Illinois, there likely won’t be any hand washing/waxing from Nov-Mar so I want to build up a good protective coat of wax. During that time I will probably take advantage of any warmish days and wash and wax to maintain the excellent finish these products provide.
I am happy with Meguiar’s Ceramic Wax products.
UPDATE:
It’s December in Northern Illinois now and I’m still feeling good about the lustrous shine on my garage kept Honda. We have had some cold rain, a little snow and single digit wind chill but no water spots appear after precipitation evaporates from the finish. Too cold now to hand wash and I’m not going to use the wash bays or auto wash facilities–car doesn’t need washing. Love the durability of this ceramic wax.
We’ll see how it performs when the snow really flies and I have to drive through it.

Great kit and pretty easy to apply. The wax lasts more than I’m used to and even living in a dusty area it kept the car shining. I took one star because the microfiber cloths that came seems like cheaply made and not actual meguiars ones.

I’ve always used the black bottle wax from this company and opted to try this. It goes on easy, smells good, comes off easy, and keeps my dark colored car cleaner way longer. The spray wax is great in between and water beads right off. Will buy again.
